八局下半，遊騎兵第6任救援投手，30歲的菜鳥MattBush，2016年5月才升上大聯盟，由於表現不錯，才有機會在季後賽亮相，一上來就連三K，讓藍鳥三上三下。

可惜延長賽10局下半，隊友的再見失誤，讓Bush在沒有自責失分的情況下，吞下敗投，遊騎兵也被橫掃出局，Bush主投2.2局飆出5K，比起被打爆的先發投手群，他的表現還是亮點，其實，他是浪子回頭金不換。
記者vs.遊騎兵投手布希（2016.5.21）：「（所以麥特去年此時你在做什麼），我在一個鳥地方為我犯的罪服刑，無法想像現在可以坐在這裡跟你講話，還上了大聯盟。」
Bush是2004年選秀狀元，當時被教士選走，是備受矚目的游擊手，但因為喝酒誤事，讓他的棒球事業跌到谷底，球場外狀況不斷，被球隊交易或解約，輾轉換了好幾隊，因為臂力超強，還改練投手，2012年在光芒春訓時，因為酒駕差點撞死人，在監獄服刑34個月之後提早出獄，遊騎兵給他一紙小聯盟合約，讓他浴火重生。

出獄後不到7個月，他在5月中升上大聯盟，以救援投手的身分，繳出7勝2敗，自責分率2.48的好成績，這位更生狀元，在投手丘上闖出了一片天，也讓遊騎兵浪子回頭球員的案例再添一樁，之前最有名的，就是巨砲JoshHamilton，走出喝酒嗑藥的陰影，一度還成為大聯盟一線球星。(民視新聞丁泰祥、余啟成綜合報導)
